Uwe Wiemers

Uwe Wiemers is an accomplished executive in the automotive industry with extensive experience in quality management and operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Quality Global at Adient since June 2013, Uwe Wiemers oversees quality for the Product Group Metals and Mechanisms. Previously, Uwe Wiemers held the position of General Manager Interiors at Johnson Controls Automotive from October 2011 to June 2013, managing the General Motors Business Unit Global. Uwe Wiemers also spent 16 years at Johnson Controls in various roles, including General Manager Seating for the GM/Opel Business Unit Europe and other diverse positions such as Quality Director and Program Director. Uwe Wiemers earned a Master of Engineering degree from Ruhr University Bochum between 1988 and 1994.
