Marc van Herk

Marc van Herk has a strong background in engineering and has worked primarily in the imaging systems industry. Marc started their career as a Test Engineer at HCS Vision Technology in 1988 and remained in that role until 1992. In 1992, they joined Adimec Advanced Image Systems bv and took on various roles including Test Engineer, Engineering Assistant, Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Bedrijfshulpverlener (company responder), Senior Production Engineer, and most recently as a Teamleader in both Service Engineering and Production Engineering. Their experience spans over three decades, with their most recent role starting in July 2020 at Adimec.

Marc van Herk has a diverse education history with a focus on technical and leadership training. In 1981, they attended the Lagere Technische School "Don Bosco" where they studied Electrotechniek until 1985. Following this, Marc attended the Middelbare Technische School "Leonardo Da Vinci" from 1985 to 1989, where they focused on Electronica. Moving forward, they pursued higher education at Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven in 1997, studying Wiskunde for a year. From 1998 to 2001, they continued their studies at the same institution, this time as an Ontwerper Analoge Electronica. Next, in 2002, Marc enrolled in two training courses at Microcentrum Eindhoven, specializing in Invoering Statistische Procesbeheersing and Cursus Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, respectively. In the same year, they also studied Bedrijfskunde voor Technici at Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven until 2003. Most recently, in 2020, Marc completed a training program in Training Innovatief Leiderschap at SUAS - A Schouten & Nelissen Company.
