Grietje Caels

Grietje Caels has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of project management and interior design. Grietje is currently serving as the Head of Project Delivery for the Middle East region at Adirondack Studios. Prior to this, Grietje held the position of Senior Project Manager at Rely Industries from 2020 to 2022. Grietje also worked as a Senior Project Manager at OP3 International, where they managed various projects, including the Visitor Center for UAE Space Agency and the Paddock suite for ADNOC at the Yas Marina F1 Race Circuit.

Grietje's previous roles also include working as a Senior Architect - Interiors at AECOM and as a Senior Interior Designer at AE7. Grietje has experience working in the theme park industry as well, having served as the Senior Design Manager - Interiors at Dubai Parks and Resorts. In this role, Grietje managed the design process for various theme park projects and oversaw FF&E procurement.

Before joining Dubai Parks and Resorts, Grietje worked as a Retail Delivery Manager at Vindico Retail and as a Freelance Project Manager at Twenty 1 Middle East and for private clients. Grietje also worked as a Senior Engineer Interior Design at Oger Emirates LLC.

Grietje Caels completed a Bachelor of Interior Architecture at HOGENT in 1997. Grietje then pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) at Hoger Architectuurinstituut St.-Lucas, Gent, Belgium, from 1992 to 1996. In 2012, Grietje obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
