Waldo Nuez-Ortín

Waldo Nuez-Ortín is an experienced professional in aquaculture, currently serving as Head of Aqua Global Tech & Sci Support and Global R&D Manager Aquaculture at Adisseo since February 2018, where responsibilities include managing R&D efforts focused on aquaculture specialties and providing technical support for product management, marketing, and sales. Previously, Waldo held positions as a lecturer at James Cook University, where research was conducted on the impact of production strategies and environmental stressors on aquaculture, and as a PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania, where a focus was on aquaculture nutrition and physiology. Additional experience includes roles such as Aqua Product Manager at NOREL S.A. and a research fellow at the University of Pittsburgh. Waldo holds a PhD in Aquaculture Nutrition from the University of Tasmania, an MSc in Animal Nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan, and a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza.
