Rakesh Shelar

Rakesh Shelar is an experienced professional in the coal trading and marketing sector, currently serving as Joint President at SWISS SINGAPORE OVERSEAS ENTERPRISES PTE. LTD. since September 2020. Prior to this role, Rakesh held the position of Vice President - Coal Trading at SWISS SINGAPORE OVERSEAS ENT. PTE. LTD. (part of the Aditya Birla Group) from August 2012 to September 2020, where responsibilities included managing a significant coal marketing portfolio. Rakesh's extensive career also includes a role as General Manager - Marketing at Visa Comtrade Ltd., overseeing marketing operations in the South-West Zone of India, and serving as Area Manager (Sales and Operation) at Kumar Group of Companies, coordinating coal supplies with State Electricity Boards.
