Shishir Misra

Shishir Misra has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shishir began their career as an HR Business Partner at Applitech Solutions in 2001. Shishir then worked as a Consultant at T V Rao Learning Systems, where they were involved in designing and delivering consulting services in various HR areas. After that, they joined the Tata Management Training Center as a Consultant, where they stayed until 2005. Shishir then moved on to CRISIL, a Standard & Poor Company, where they worked as an HR Business Partner for a year.

In 2006, Shishir joined the Aditya Birla Group, where they held multiple roles over a span of 12 years. Shishir started as a Senior Manager in Group Human Resources and worked their way up to the position of Group Human Resources - Job Evaluation & Org Design. Shishir also served as the HRBP for South East Asia & China and as part of the Business HR team.

In 2016, Shishir joined Century Textile and Industries as the CPO of Birla Estates and SVP of Business HR & HO, where they contributed to the company's growth and success.

Currently, Shishir is associated with the Aditya Birla Group as the Head HR - Specialty Aluminas & Chemicals at Hindalco Industries Limited. Shishir is responsible for overseeing HR operations in this division. Shishir also previously held the position of Joint President & HR Head - Asia & HO at Aditya Birla Group.

Throughout their career, Shishir has demonstrated expertise in various HR functions and has worked with a variety of organizations across different industries.

Shishir Misra completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Psychology, Applied Statistics, and Economics from Banaras Hindu University from 1995 to 1998. Shishir then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources and Development Management (MHRDM) at the University of Allahabad from 1998 to 2000.
