Zura Katsitadze has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Zura started their career as a Java Software Developer at OSMP Georgia in 2011, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining core Java and J2EE applications. After that, they joined UFC JSC in 2012 as a Java Software Developer, where they continued to work with Core Java, J2EE, Oracle/PL SQL, REST Services, SOAP Service, Spring, and Spring Security until 2017.
In 2017, Zura joined adjarabet.com as an Oracle/PL SQL Developer. Here, they were involved in Oracle database full life cycle development, including data modeling, database architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, testing, and support. Zura also created PL/SQL packages, standalone procedures, and functions. In 2018, they were promoted to Senior Oracle/PL SQL Developer at the same company and took on additional responsibilities, including analyzing technical design documents, providing support to application developers, and designing and developing relational databases.
In 2021, Zura joined EPAM Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time there, they created a new backend application using Java (Spring Boot) and SQL (Oracle, Postgres) and deployed a docker image on AWS. Zura also implemented a deployment pipeline. In addition to this, they worked as a Data Engineer, creating a data pipeline using Spark, Scala, and Java, and deploying it on Azure and AWS.
In 2023, Zura returned to adjarabet.com as a Technical Lead. In this role, they manage and leads the Development Team, ensuring technical quality, and guiding the team through technical issues and challenges.
Throughout their career, Zura has gained expertise in various technologies and frameworks, including Core Java, J2EE, Oracle/PL SQL, Spring, Spring Security, Spark, Scala, and Java. Zura has demonstrated their ability to develop and maintain software applications, create database schemas, and provide technical support to teams.
Zura Katsitadze obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ivane Javahišvilis Sakhelobis Tbilisis Sakhelmtsipo Universiteti between 2007 and 2011. Subsequently, Zura pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their academic degrees, Zura has also obtained certifications in "AWS Quick Tips for Developers" and "Advanced Java: Threads" from LinkedIn, as well as a certification in "Effective Communication" from ISB - International School of Business in October 2013.
