John Agostino

Vice President Field Operations at Adjusters International

John Agostino has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John began their career in the New York Army National Guard, where they served as a Major until their retirement in 1994. Afterward, they transitioned into a role as Deputy Director for Administration at the New York State Emergency Management Office. In this position, they managed various disaster recovery programs and served as the Governor's Authorized Representative for federal declared disasters.

In 2010, John moved to Adjusters International, where they held multiple leadership positions, including Deputy Director and Director, before eventually becoming the Executive Director of Program Delivery. As Executive Director, they worked closely with the President and CEO, overseeing emergency management programs and managing a team responsible for disaster recovery, resiliency programs, consulting services, and planning/training/exercise programs.

John also served as Vice President of Field Operations and Vice President of Prepaedness and Resilience Programs at Tidal Basin Group starting in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Additionally, they had a role as an Adjunct Instructor at Maria College and served as a member of the Board of Directors at Family and Children's Service of the Capital Region.

Throughout their career, John Agostino has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in the field of emergency management, disaster recovery, and program delivery.

John Agostino earned their BA in Sociology at Siena College from 1968 to 1972. Following that, they pursued an MBA at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management from 1989 to 1991, specializing in Management.
