Adjutant General's Corps Regimental Association (AGCRA)
The Adjutant General's Corps Regimental Association (AGCRA) is a U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization and serves as the Professional Association for the U.S. Army Adjutant General's Corps. AGCRA supports and serves AG Soldiers, Army Civilian HR Professionals, Army Bands, individuals affiliated with the Adjutant General's Corps, and their Family members. The mission of the AGCRA is to support the entire U.S. Army Adjutant General's (AG) Corps, the only professional organization with this primary function; to share the camaraderie of like-minded Soldiers and citizens who believe in maintaining the AG spirit; to recognize, through our awards program, outstanding AG Corps Soldiers, Civilians, and Association supporters; and to preserve the AG Corps and AGCRA heritage. Additionally, AGCRA will: - Sponsor new methods, improved techniques, developments, and other innovations designed to increase the U.S. Army's efficiency while promoting high proficiency standards in the AG Corps and the Army's Human Resources Community at Large, including Army Bands. - Encourage a positive and collaborative attitude among members of the Association while preserving friendly relationships. This would also include establishing an awards and human resources education program to enhance exemplary recognition, knowledge, and understanding within the AG Corps and AGCRA. - Promote mutual understanding and effecting cooperation with enterprises in similar fields of human resources endeavors. - Encourage research and development programs in personnel, administration, and human resources management, as well as postal operations, public affairs, Army Band operations, and accessions, recruiting & retention. - Operate on a nonprofit basis to support its members and the AG Corps. - Conduct its affairs in a nonpartisan political manner.
