Jenean Featherson

Jenean Featherson has extensive work experience in human resources. Jenean most recently worked as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Adler Planetarium, starting in April 2020. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Licensed Real Estate Broker from 2010 onwards. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Loretto Hospital, where they developed HR programs and implemented strategies to achieve business objectives. Before that, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at ADP from 2015 to 2016, providing guidance on employment laws, policies, and handbooks. Jenean also worked as a Human Resources Manager at DARD Products, Inc. from 2009 to 2015, where they handled employee relations and labor relations, leading to a decrease in labor relations board arbitrations. Their earlier experience includes working as a Human Resources Professional at Comcast from 2000 to 2009, where they provided support on HR, payroll, and benefit issues, conducted training, and managed administrative processes.

Jenean Featherson completed their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Robert Morris University - Illinois. Jenean attended from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management at DePaul University, from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their degrees, Jenean obtained the certifications of SHRM-CP from SHRM in February 2015 and PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2014.
