Katy Hynes is an experienced attorney at Adler Pollock & Sheehan PC, where a focus on criminal law/white collar defense, products liability and toxic tort, and business litigation has been established since September 2003. Admitted to practice in state courts across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, as well as federal courts and the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, Katy brings a comprehensive litigation background to the role. Prior professional experience includes serving as a law clerk to Judge Michael A. Silverstein during notable lead paint litigation at the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and overseeing court advocacy services for domestic violence victims as Interim Executive Director at Sojourner House. Earlier career experience as a paralegal at the Law Offices of Mann & Mitchell included extensive case preparation and legal research. Katy holds a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island.
