Ian Hogg is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Section of the California Department of Justice since August 2025. Prior to this role, Ian worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, first as a Summer Associate in 2015, then as a Litigation Associate from October 2016 to April 2025. Ian also gained valuable experience as a Public Interest Fellow at The World Bank Group in 2014, and previously held positions as a Legal Assistant at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office. Ian holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law and The George Washington University Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Dartmouth College.
