Helen Chan is a Scientist with experience in various pharmaceutical and biotech companies. At Engene Inc, Helen held the positions of QC & Scientific Data Integrity Manager and Manager of Assay and Lab Operations. At Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Helen worked as a Research Associate in R&D, focusing on developing therapies for ultra-rare genetic metabolic disorders. Helen also has experience as a Biologist at Merck, where Helen developed assays for pre-clinical candidate drugs. In their role at GeminX Pharmaceuticals Inc, Helen worked as a Research Associate, identifying cellular targets for anti-cancer drugs. Helen holds a M.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology from Queen's University and a B.Sc. Honours in Microbiology & Immunology from McGill University.
