Justin Poupart

Justin was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After becoming disenchanted with a stalled career path, he headed to China where he spent more than 13 years. While there, he developed several joint-venture academic programs, honed his skills as a classroom teacher and trainer and developed passable Mandarin Chinese.

In July 2014 he returned to Halifax with his wife and son with the lofty ambition of doing joint-venture programming from within North America. Justin joined AFA in March 2015 but continues to reside in Canada. We don’t see him around campus too often because he spends most of his time in the schools overseas developing the Admiral Farragut Academy International Programs and Admissions.
