Deidra Mayer

Deidra Mayer currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Admissions & Aid at Lamar University, a position held since 2008, after progressing through various roles including Director of Engineering Marketing and Associate Director. In these roles, Deidra Mayer specializes in training students in recruitment techniques and coordinating on-campus hiring processes, while also developing internship and experiential programs within the College of Business and Engineering. Prior experience includes positions at Dillard's, where Deidra Mayer served as Visual Manager, overseeing vendor relations and contributing to significant sales goals, and as Area Sales Manager, supervising a team of employees and facilitating promotions. Deidra Mayer holds an M.Ed in Educational Technology and a BBA in Business Management, both from Lamar University.
