Don Orcutt

Divisional Director of Operations at Admiral Security Services

Don Orcutt has over 30 years’ experience in the security and safety industry with 28 years of management experience.

Don began his management career serving as an Area Operations Manager in Raleigh North Carolina for a Regional based company. Don quickly rose through the ranks achieving positions as Branch Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager and Senior Regional Manager. Prior to the security industry Don served as a police officer in North Carolina and achieved the rank of Lieutenant.

Don served Honorable in the United States Marine Corps. Don was one of the first responders to the 1983 terrorist bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.

Don joined Admiral Security Services in November 2009 where he was assigned to a large commercial real estate portfolio. Don has a proven record of accomplishments in the success of the security and life safety program. In May of 2015, Don was promoted to the position of Director of Operations and oversees the security operations for a region staffed by several hundred security professionals.

Don is a certified CPR/AED instructor and is an active member of the ASIS National Capital Region Chapter and the ASIS Maryland Chapter. He is active with AOBA, IREM, and the Special Olympics.

Don completed the FEMA Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program and several FEMA courses.

Don chaired the Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Committee for several years with outstanding results and enhanced the relationship with our law enforcement community and the private sector. Don is committed to enhancing security professionalism in the District of Columbia because of his oversight of many high- end commercial real estate buildings in District of Columbia and surrounding jurisdictions.
