Waynne King

Divisional Vice President at Admiral Security Services

Mr. King joined Admiral Security Services in 2004 as an Operations Manager responsible for 57 Class A office buildings in the DC Metro Region, 300 plus Security Officers and over 13,000 hours of security coverage per week. In 2007 Mr. King was promoted to the position of Division Vice President responsible for the Baltimore region, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey areas.

Mr. King has a combined 34 years of experience in force protection and security. He began his career with a major security company in July of 1994 as a part-time Security Officer and was promoted to the position of Field Manager in April of 1996. He organized and conducted training of newly hired security personnel; established, maintained, and reviewed security standards and policies; and advised Property Managers on security related issues for 29 Class A office buildings.

He was the Deputy Project Manager supporting the physical security programs within EPA Headquarters and EPA field locations Nationwide.

He had a distinguished career for 22 years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry soldier. Mr. King held jobs of great responsibility during his career to include tours as a Drill Sergeant and Assistant Sergeant of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier stationed in Arlington National Cemetery.

As a First Sergeant, Mr. King managed and trained the nation’s most elite guard force. He was responsible for training and monitoring a guard force of 220 select military personnel on uniform requirements, communications, security, use of deadly force, weapon use, emergency reactions, guard post instructions, and chain of command. He coordinated and conducted information briefings for the press and public; and he was responsible for the execution of ceremonies at the Pentagon, White House, and Arlington National Cemetery.
