Javier Benavides

Javier Benavides is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator with extensive experience in investment and business development. As the cofounder of Investa VB since July 2017, Javier has focused on enhancing entrepreneurs' capabilities and supporting startup operational needs. In addition to roles as a senior instructor at several prestigious institutions, including Postgrado UPC and UTP Universidad Tecnológica del Perú, Javier serves as a manager and angel trainer at BBCS Capital, where engagement in the investment committee is critical. Previous experience includes leading investment readiness initiatives for cooperatives in Nicaragua and consulting in financial affairs. Javier holds a Master of Business Administration from IE Business School and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Universidad Continental Posgrado.
