Cristina Segalin

Cristina Segalin is a Tech Lead and Senior Applied Research Scientist at Adobe since September 2024, specializing in algorithms and computational aesthetics. Prior to this role, Cristina served as a CV Senior Research Scientist at Netflix from August 2020 to May 2024, focusing on machine learning and computer vision. Cristina's research experience also includes positions as a Research Scientist at Disney Research (September 2018 - August 2020) and a Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech (August 2016 - August 2018), as well as a Lab Associate at The Walt Disney Company (February 2016 - April 2016), where the emphasis was on computer vision. Cristina holds a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria e Scienze Informatiche with a focus on visual computing from Università degli Studi Verona (2010-2012) and a degree in Informatica Multimediale from the same institution (2007-2010).
