Oliver Brdiczka

Oliver Brdiczka is an accomplished expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of Applied Research for Generative AI at Adobe since November 2017. In this role, Oliver leads efforts in natural language processing and prompt engineering for Adobe Firefly, focusing on LLM training and the development of intelligent user experiences. Prior positions at Adobe include Principal ML Scientist and Sr. ML Engineering Manager, where Oliver contributed to contextual AI and machine learning innovations in products like Photoshop. Additionally, Oliver holds an adjunct professor position at the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a distinguished member of the ACM. With a strong educational background that includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and multiple advanced degrees in computer science and robotics, Oliver has also co-founded companies such as Stella Jobs and led various AI initiatives and research projects throughout the career.
