Yan Jiao

Yan Jiao is a seasoned software engineering manager specializing in machine learning, currently building GenAI applications for Google and serving as a senior engineering manager in machine learning at Adobe and Tinder. Previous experience includes a tech lead and manager role at DiDi, where reinforcement learning was applied to traffic-related projects, and positions as a principal data scientist at NIO, and a senior data scientist at NVIDIA. Earlier roles include research engineering at Yahoo!, data science positions at UCL Cancer Institute, KCL, and UCL National Medical Laser Center, as well as a research fellowship at the University of Nottingham. Yan Jiao holds a PhD in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Nottingham.
