Yasuko Shibuya

Yasuko Shibuya is a legal specialist with extensive experience in legal and compliance roles across various organizations. Currently employed at Adobe since October 2022, Yasuko previously served as the Legal and Compliance Lead at Actcall Inc, where internal control procedures were remodeled, resulting in a threefold increase in stock price. At Canon Medical Systems Corporation, Yasuko drafted and negotiated over 200 agreements and supported legal stability for genomics-related programs. Yasuko’s work at the University of Tokyo involved consulting on intellectual property laws and establishing the International Arbitration Center in Tokyo. Earlier career efforts included analysis and publication organization at Hori Law Office. Yasuko holds a Doctor of Law in Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law from The University of Tokyo, along with additional legal education from National Taiwan University and Aoyama Gakuin University.
