Dan Brisco

Dan Brisco has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Dan is currently working as the Director of Electrical Engineering at Adona Medical since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Principal Electrical Engineer at Adona Medical from October 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Adona Medical, Dan worked at Invicta Medical, where they held the positions of Principal Electrical System Engineer from May 2019 to September 2020 and Director of Operations from August 2016 to May 2019. At Invicta Medical, they were responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for new and improved products. Dan also played a key role in developing the company's quality and document control system and ensuring that the designs met all requirements.

Dan also worked at EarLens as a Senior R&D Engineer from January 2015 to July 2016. In this role, they developed electrical systems for new products, defined electrical specifications, and conducted research and prototyping activities to assess the feasibility of new product designs.

Prior to EarLens, Dan worked at Sonitus Medical as a PCA Manager & Senior Systems Engineer from August 2007 to January 2015. Dan'sresponsibilities included overseeing the operations of the medical device system and transferring designs to production under ISO 13485 quality systems. Dan also managed prototypes and circuit miniaturization for a medical device audiological product design.

Dan's earlier experience includes working as a Hardware Design Engineer at St Jude Medical from November 1998 to August 2007, and as an Associate Failure Analysis Engineer at Ventritex from December 1992 to November 1998. At St Jude Medical, they were involved in hardware design, while at Ventritex, they managed the return and performed failure analysis on electronic instruments used in the operating room and doctor's office.

Dan Brisco earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from San Jose State University, where they studied from 1999 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electronic Technologies from Brown Institute, where they attended from 1982 to 1984.
