Janice Goldwater is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Adoptions Together & FamilyWorks Together since 1990. Janice is responsible for investing in children by strengthening families, providing counseling, educational programs, and advocacy for permanency. Additionally, they have served as a board member for the Adoption Exchange Association from 2003 to 2020 and the Association for the Training and Treatment of Attachment in Children from 2004 to 2014. Janice was also a participant in the Leadership Greater Washington program in 2005.
Janice Goldwater earned their BA in sociology from Ithaca College, where they studied from 1975 to 1978. Following that, they pursued an MSW in clinical social work from Washington University in St. Louis, where they studied from 1978 to 1980.

With locations in Maryland, Virginia and DC we offer unique services and expertise in family counseling, adoption, education, therapy and key public-private community partnerships.
