Adrian Mihaila

Adrian Mihaila has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Adrian is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Adore Me since December 2021. Prior to this, Adrian worked at eMAG from 2016 to 2021, where they held various roles including Technical Team Lead, Release Manager, and PHP Developer. In these roles, they managed and mentored employees, oversaw recruitment processes, and implemented coding standards and best practices. Adrian also worked on internal apps using PHP, Python, JavaScript, and various frameworks and technologies.

Adrian also co-founded Microsera in 2018, where they took on multiple roles such as Software Architect, Developer, and IT Project Manager. Adrian developed the API Rest using Symfony 4 and MongoDB for this micro plant growth device.

Before that, Adrian worked at Arnia Software as a PHP Developer, where they worked on a startup project called Ticketscript that utilized a microservices architecture. Adrian also assisted the frontend team and worked with Handlebars and NodeJS.

Earlier in their career, Adrian worked at Zitec as a Project Manager, Software Engineer, and Software Developer, where they worked on multiple projects using Drupal, Solr, Varnish, Phalcon, and Zend Framework. Adrian also gained experience with cloud infrastructure and various technologies.

Additionally, Adrian worked at Artvister as a Web Developer, where they maintained and added new features to existing projects. Adrian also created websites using Joomla and Prestashop.

At the start of their career, Adrian interned at ICAR TOURS as a Graphic Designer, where they created mockups, identity designs, and implemented HTML and CSS for newsletters. Adrian also interned at Axiologic Research as a Web Designer.

Adrian Mihaila has a solid education background in computer science and web technologies. Adrian obtained a Master's degree in Web Technologies and Databases from the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University's Faculty of Computer Science from 2010 to 2013. Adrian also attended The National College of Computer Science in Piatra Neamt from 2006 to 2010, where they received a degree as a Programmer Assistant.

In addition to their formal education, Adrian Mihaila has sought further professional development by obtaining certifications. Adrian acquired a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University in May 2020. In September 2014, they became a Zend Certified PHP Engineer through Zend Technologies.
