Dragos Ionita

Dragos Ionita has a diverse work experience in the software industry. Dragos started their career as a Software Developer at GoPrint in 2011, where they developed an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for a publishing house. Dragos then joined Sinapticode as a Software Engineer in 2012, where they worked on various projects, including online marketplace lodging/rent, banking exchanges application, live streaming & chat, and ERP for national broadcasters. Here, they gained experience in using technologies like Angular.

In 2015, Dragos founded Burningroads.ro, a web browser-based massively multiplayer online game centered around illegal street racing. Later that year, they also founded Situatia Drumurilor, a Romanian navigation app that became one of the most downloaded in the country.

In 2018, Dragos co-founded FoodKit.ro, the first sous-vide cooked delivered meals service in Romania. As the CTO, they played a crucial role in decision-making related to production, logistics, distribution, and engineering. Dragos designed and developed a high-quality Single Page App (SPA) for the storefront and a business application to optimize the recipe creation, production, and distribution processes by optimizing transportation routes.

From 2015 to 2017, Dragos worked as a Senior Frontend Developer at Adore Me, where they played a key role in transforming the monolithic Magento platform into a performant native-like web app. Dragos used their expertise in Angular to implement functional components, create a custom router, and establish a sustainable style guide.

In 2021, Dragos transitioned into the role of Software Engineering Manager at Adore Me. In this position, they supervise the design and development of software solutions and fosters a startup mindset, encouraging rapid experimentation while adhering to coding standards and exploring new technologies.
