Micaela Connors

Micaela Connors is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager and Remitly Canada Site Lead at Remitly since January 2020, where Micaela has successfully built and scaled development teams to enhance the technology platform utilizing Java and AWS. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Remitly and a Senior Analytics Engineer at GE Power, where Micaela developed significant software solutions for complex analytics and machine learning applications. Micaela has a strong background in Agile methodologies gained through positions at GE Digital, where responsibilities included managing AI-focused projects and leading multiple Scrum teams. Micaela holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has participated in research at both the University of Wisconsin-Madison and The University of Hong Kong.
