Pilar Obeso

Pilar Obeso is an accomplished professional in the fields of design, education, and curation, currently serving as a Handbag Design professor at CENTRO diseño | cine | televisión since January 2019 and recognized as an Outstanding Professor in 2019. Pilar's extensive experience includes roles as Associate Curator at Agencia Cultural Mallet, where over two hundred Mexican creatives have been showcased, and Design Curator at ADORNO, collaborating with international curators to highlight Mexican designers. Pilar has also worked as a researcher at Museo Franz Mayer, focusing on fashion and design exhibition proposals, and was a Project Manager for Corredor Cultural Roma Condesa, achieving significant participation and recognition. As a co-founder and Executive Designer of TALLER NU, Pilar played a pivotal role in creating collections with social impact and successfully leading a crowdfunding campaign. Educational qualifications include a Master of Professional Studies in Global Fashion Management and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile and Fashion Design from CENTRO diseño | cine | televisión.
