Lindsey Caroon has a diverse work experience that highlights their expertise in communications, marketing, advocacy, and public health. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Program Advocate for the Salvation Army, where they provided support services and education to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Training and Research Specialist for the Rural Crime and Justice Center at Minot State University, focusing on methamphetamine education and awareness. In 2016, they worked as a Program Consultant and Photographer for the Council for Exceptional Children, advocating for children with exceptionalities and influencing policy and legislation. From 2009 to 2019, they established their own consulting company, providing public health education services and marketing expertise in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2017, they became a Marketing Ambassador and Epilepsy Advocate for LivaNova, where they counseled patients considering epilepsy treatment. Most recently, Caroon joined AdPro in 2021 as an Account Manager before being promoted to Director of Communications in 2022. In this role, they lead a team responsible for healthcare and nonprofit accounts, utilizing their creative skills and attention to detail. Lindsey Caroon has a diverse education background, with a focus on public health and business administration. Lindsey obtained a Master's Certificate in Core Public Health Concepts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's of Science in Business Administration and Management from Minot State University from 2004 to 2006. Lindsey completed their undergraduate studies at East Carolina University, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies in Disease Epidemiology.
In addition to their formal education, Lindsey has also obtained two additional certifications. In 2007, they completed the Public Health Leadership Program and obtained a Certificate in Core Public Health Concepts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. More recently, in September 2018, Lindsey acquired a TESOL/TEFL certification from the TESOL International Association.
