Hamdan Alkalbani

Hamdan Alkalbani has a diverse work experience in the field of digital transformation and AI. Hamdan is currently serving as the Chief of Transformation & AI at ADQ since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Digital Transformation & AI at Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD) from November 2017 to November 2021. Hamdan has also worked as a Consultant in AI & Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Possibilities from August 2019 to March 2020. Additionally, they have held leadership roles in digital transformation at Union Properties, Methaq Takaful Insurance Company, ASWAAQ, and Mobily.

Hamdan Alkalbani has a diverse educational background. Hamdan obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence from Aberystwyth University from 2019 to 2021. In 2019, they also earned a Diploma of Education in Executive Leadership from Duke University. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Smart City at Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai (RIT Dubai) from 2017 to 2018. In 2012, they completed a Diploma of Strategic Planning Methodology using DCA at the Amirecan International Center. Hamdan'sundergraduate education took place at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM, where they received a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from 1999 to 2005. Additionally, they have a Master's degree in Smart City from Rochester Institute of Technology.
