Philip Piatkiewicz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy, project management, and communication across various sectors. Currently serving as Secretary General at Adra since May 2023, Philip previously held similar positions at the Greater Birmingham West Midlands Brussels Office and Scotland Europa, where contributions were made to enhance Scotland's research and digital industries. Past roles include Project Manager at euRobotics AISBL, managing Horizon2020 projects, and Communication & Project Officer at Europe for Business, where Philip led EU funded initiatives. Earlier experiences also encompass positions at ClientEarth, Ruhama Foundation, and the Institute for Euro-regional Studies. The Vision of the European Partnership on AI-Data and Robotics (ADR-Association) is to boost European competitiveness, societal wellbeing and environmental aspects to lead the world in researching, developing and deploying value-driven trustworthy AI, Data and Robotics based on fundamental European rights, principles and values. Both of the Horizon 2020 partnerships, BDVA and euRobotics cPPPs (Big Data Value PPP and SPARC PPP), achieved high impact by enhancing cohesion and engagement within the wider Data and Robotics ecosystems and communities. The new ADR Association builds on the work of these current partnerships and on the investment in the broader European AI community crystallised in the formation and existence of EurAI, CLAIRE and ELLIS.
