Will Thain

Section Violin at Adrian Symphony Orchestra

Will Thain is an accomplished violinist currently serving as a Section Violin for both the Adrian Symphony Orchestra and the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, positions held since late 2022. Previously, Will held the role of Violin Sectional Coach for the Michigan Youth Symphony Orchestra from January 2021 to January 2023, and worked as a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator for the University of Michigan - School of Music, Theatre & Dance in early 2021. Will's experience in finance includes positions as VP Finance for the McGill Music Undergraduates Students Association and Financial Coordinator and Chief of Staff for McGill Orientation Week - Faculty of Music. Educational achievements include a Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship and Leadership from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Michigan, and both a Graduate Diploma and Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Schulich School of Music of McGill University, with a minor in Management.
