Joanne Benko

Joanne Benko is a seasoned arts professional with extensive experience in programming and management within the performing arts sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Programming at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County since February 2023, Joanne previously held the position of Managing Director at Zoetic Stage from September 2021 to February 2023. Joanne's long tenure at the Adrienne Arsht Center from August 2006 to September 2021 included various roles such as Director of Programming, Director of Marketing, and Manager of Marketing. Additionally, Joanne contributed to the Carbonell Awards as a Board Member and Volunteer Administrative Assistant from October 2012 to August 2021 and held a position at the Coconut Grove Playhouse from 2003 to 2006. Joanne earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Florida International University, graduating in 2006.
