Udith Gunaratna

Udith Gunaratna has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Udith is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Aayu Technologies since April 2022 and was previously the Director of Engineering at the same organization from February 2020 to April 2022.

Prior to joining Aayu Technologies, Udith worked at AdroitLogic as the Chief Technology Officer from April 2022 onwards. Udith also held the positions of Director of Engineering from August 2018 to April 2022, Associate Software Architect from February 2018 to August 2018, Associate Tech Lead from April 2017 to February 2018, Senior Software Engineer from June 2016 to April 2017, and Software Engineer from May 2015 to May 2016.

Udith also has experience working at SLAppForge as the Director of Engineering from August 2018 to September 2022 and as an Associate Software Architect from February 2018 to August 2018.

Furthermore, they have worked as a Visiting Instructor at the University of Moratuwa from June 2014 to November 2014 and as an Application Developer at CSE Partner Network from April 2014 to August 2014.

Udith's career began as a Trainee Software Engineer at 99X Technology in November 2013, where they implemented a browser recognition module for a cloud-based enterprise-grade accounting application.

Udith Gunaratna completed their secondary education from Royal College Colombo, attended from 2001 to 2009. Following that, they pursued their higher education at the University of Moratuwa from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a B.Sc. Engineering (Hons) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
