Marc Santiago

Marc Santiago's work experience includes the following positions:

1. VP of Programmatic Engineering at Ads By Nimbus, starting in February 2019 (current role). Previously, they held the position of Director of Programmatic Engineering from January 2019 to February 2020.

2. VP of Programmatic Engineering at timehop since February 2020 (current role). Previously, they held the position of Director of Programmatic Engineering from May 2018 to February 2020. Marc also worked as a Backend Engineer from August 2017 to May 2018.

3. At the American Museum of Natural History, they worked as a Molecular Systematics Biologist from 2014 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for writing python scripts to automate data flow, extract and sequence DNA. Marc has published two papers and is working on a third.

4. At PubGears (NexTag Publisher Solutions), Marc worked as a Senior Lead Software Engineer from 2015 to July 2017. Their responsibilities included maintaining and deploying servers on AWS and writing and maintaining backend and frontend code.

5. As a freelancer, Marc worked as a computer and web programmer from 2014 to 2016. Their work involved designing and writing web pages using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Marc was also familiar with Wix and wrote web parsing, scraping, and python scripts.

6. Marc worked as an Instructor at Launch Learning from September 2014 to August 2015.

7. At Computer Programming, they worked as a Python and Java Teacher from July 2014 to August 2015. Marc taught Python and Java to students aged 7 to 13 and helped write lesson plans.

8. Marc also worked as a Computer Technician at BY Mellon Bank from 2013 to August 2013.

Marc Santiago attended Susquehanna University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Philosophy. Marc also obtained an Associate's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General during the same time period. In terms of additional certifications, Marc obtained a certification in Rust Programming Language from Udemy in July 2021 and a certification in Protocol Buffer in March 2019, also from Udemy.
