Jim Thorpe

V.p. Of Business Development at Ellefson Transportation Group

Jim Thorpe has a vast work experience spanning over several years. Jim began their career as the VP of Sales & Marketing at United Van Lines (Browning Moving & Storage) in 1996, a role they held for 15 years. In 2011, they transitioned to the Keller Center for Corporate Learning of DeVry University as the Manager of Local Accounts until 2013. Later that year, they joined Ellefson Transportation Group, Inc. (ETG) as the Director of Business Development, and eventually became the Vice President of Business Development in the same company. Jim has been instrumental in various aspects of the transportation industry, including moving systems, storage, records management, and shredding.

Jim Thorpe attended Yorktown High School from 1984 to 1987. Jim then pursued Computer Information Systems at The George Washington University from 1987 to 1990. Later, from 2002 to 2006, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of South Florida. Lastly, in 2008 to 2010, Jim completed the Executive Leadership Program, Center of Business Excellence from the University of St. Thomas, with a focus on UniGroup Cohort 4: Developing the Next Generation.
