Nishant Ravikumar

Nishant Ravikumar is a Co-Founder and Head of Virtual Populations at adsilico Limited since February 2024 and is currently a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Leeds, where a role has been held since March 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Fellow in Medical Image Computing at the Center for Computational Imaging & Simulation Technologies in Biomedicine (CISTIB) from May 2019 to March 2021 and a Postdoctoral Researcher and Guest Scientist at Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg from April 2017 to April 2019. Nishant's academic background includes a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, where several teaching and research roles were fulfilled, including a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Nishant also gained international experience through a study abroad program at Case Western Reserve University and has contributed to organizing events such as the University of Sheffield Engineering Symposium in 2015.
