Karolina Makaruk

Karolina Makaruk is an experienced professional in the fields of product design and geoinformation, currently serving as Product Design Lead and Map/Geodata Visualization Designer at Adsquare since June 2022. Previously, Karolina worked at Booking.com from August 2017 to June 2022 as Project Manager for Geo Services, overseeing a team of GIS Specialists and managing various geo projects. Karolina's earlier roles include GIS Analyst/Tester at Sozialhelden e.V. and GIS Analyst positions at geoSYS and Geolicious, where skills in data analysis, mapping, and project management were developed. Karolina holds a Magister (Mgr) degree in Geoinformation from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu and attended Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia.
