Janis Franchina

Janis Franchina, CRVPM, currently serves as AVP and Assistant Director of Vendor Risk and Relationship Management at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago since June 2022. Previously, Janis worked at Discover Financial Services from January 2019 to May 2022 as a Business Risk Manager, focusing on operational risk and internal controls, and as an Enterprise Risk Manager responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management framework. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Third Party Risk Management at the OCC from August 2016 to December 2018, where Janis directed the Third Party Risk Management program, and a tenure at VW Credit, Inc. from May 1998 to July 2016 as Vendor Risk Manager and Sr. Commercial Credit Risk Analyst. Janis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Management Information Systems from Oakland University.
