Keona Tarpley

Keona Tarpley has extensive work experience in various management roles. Keona is currently the Director of Product Management at Adtalem Global Education, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, Keona worked at Laureate Education, Inc. for over 15 years. Keona served as the Director of Strategy and Transformation from February 2017 to October 2021, where they focused on translating strategic objectives into digital transformation roadmaps and assessing the return on investment of delivered capabilities. Before that, Keona held the position of Director of Continuous Improvement from August 2014 to February 2017, where they collaborated with the admissions department to improve operational efficiency and enhance the student experience. Keona also worked as a Manager of Business Process Design, Operations Manager in Marketing, Enrollment Management, and Document Management during their tenure at Laureate Education. In their role as Operations Manager of Document Management, Keona successfully managed a team responsible for document imaging, data entry, and storage, as well as overseeing the creation of a Transcript Request Team.

Keona Tarpley attended the University of Maryland from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology. Keona also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Aveta Business Institute, obtained in 2012.
