Andrew Newland, P.E. has a diverse range of work experience. Andrew started their career as a Summer Intern at PennDOT in 2005 and 2006. Andrew then worked as an Intern at NOVA Chemicals in 2007 and as a Design Engineer/Intern at New Millennium Building Systems in 2008.

From 2009 to 2012, Andrew worked at LiteSteel Technologies America as an Applications Engineer, where they played a key role in the development, testing, and promotion of LiteSteel Beams (LSB). Andrew worked on projects such as the Florida Building Code product approval process and the inclusion of LSB in fire rated assemblies.

In 2012, Andrew joined Bigoney Engineering, PC as a Structural Engineer. Andrew was responsible for performing structural design for various types of projects, including residential additions, commercial buildings, and industrial buildings. Andrew utilized hot-rolled steel design, wood design, and concrete design for these projects.

Since 2013, Andrew has been with ADTEK Engineers. Andrew initially worked as a Project Manager before being promoted to Team Leader - Specialty Engineering. Currently, they hold the position of Principal at the company.

Andrew Newland, P.E. holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering Mechanics (SEM) from Virginia Tech, which they obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) from the same institution in 2007. In 2012, they obtained the professional certification of P.E. (Professional Engineer) from NCEES. Additionally, Andrew Newland also has a certification in Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
