Michiel Wijminga

Michiel Wijminga is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Sales Director for Adtran since May 2023, Michiel specializes in advanced technologies such as DWDM, quantum-safe networking, XGS-Pon, and WiFi 7. Prior to this role, Michiel held the position of Director for Strategic Accounts Carrier Sales EMEA at WISI Group from 2010 to May 2023, contributing to the transformation of HFC infrastructures. Previous roles include Director of Strategic Accounts for FttH Carrier Sales EMEA at PacketFront, International Business Development Manager at Digicore Europe B.V., and project manager at Nokia Netherlands, where key responsibilities included leading teams and meeting rollout targets. Michiel began the professional career at Detron mobile networks as AM Telfort.
