Neil Unger

Neil Unger is an experienced FPGA Design Engineer at ADTRAN since December 2019, specializing in programming FPGAs using VHDL and Python for networking equipment. Prior experience includes co-op positions at ADTRAN, where responsibilities encompassed designing firmware features in C++, programming FPGAs, conducting software tests, and maintaining server environments. Neil's early career features a role as a Student IT Consultant at Auburn University, providing technical support and hardware maintenance, as well as positions in customer service at Olive Garden and Belle Foods. Neil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and graduated from the Alabama School of Math and Science.
