Nick Shoja

Nick Shoja, Ph.D., is a Senior Information System Engineer at ADTRAN since May 2021, following a role as a Post Doctoral Fellow and Computer Research Scientist at The University of Alabama in Huntsville from August 2015 to May 2021. Shoja has extensive experience in cybersecurity, focusing on Security Operations Center activities, incident response, vulnerability management, risk assessment, and threat hunting. As a graduate teaching and research assistant during the pursuit of a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Shoja contributed to establishing a standard cybersecurity framework and participated in research related to risk measurement in organizations. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Azad University.
