Rusty Boudreaux is a Senior Analog Design Engineer and Senior Principal Engineer at Adtran, with extensive experience in analog and power supply hardware design, specializing in various topologies including flyback, active clamp forward, and buck converters. Prior to Adtran, Rusty operated as a consulting/contract engineer from 1994 to 1997, focusing on alkaline/NiCd battery charger hardware design and algorithm development. Additionally, Rusty served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University, contributing to research on power conversion topologies and device performance. Rusty holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, acquired between 1989 and 1997.
