Steve Penticost

Steve Penticost is a seasoned business development executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and networking sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Business Development at Adtran since February 2023, Steve has also held the position of VP Global Business Development at ADVA Optical Networking since August 2013. Previous roles include VP of Product Management and VP of Customer Solutions at OCLARO, VP of Business Development at Mintera, and Director of Systems Engineering at Ceyba. Steve's career includes significant positions at Cisco Systems, Pirelli Cables and Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, and Nortel, showcasing a robust background in engineering and marketing. Steve earned a BSc(H) in Physics from Northumbria University between 1987 and 1991.
