Lori-ann Giamanco

Lori-ann Giamanco has been working in the field of adult foster care for over eight years. Lori-ann started their career as an assistant program director at Northeast Arc, where they were responsible for supervising and training new staff on agency policy and procedures, as well as management of individual banking and budgeting. Lori-ann also oversaw the medical needs of all individuals, including scheduling and supporting medical appointments, ordering and administration of medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in accordance with MAPS policy. In 2013, they transitioned to Bridgewell, where they served as the residential program director. In this role, they were responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of staff; promoting professional development of staff through regular coaching, mentoring, and continuous training; ensuring ongoing systems for measuring quality of services and compliance with DDS, CARF, QUEST and all applicable regulatory standards; and overseeing all medical, clinical, and financial needs of the individuals by identifying needs and securing appropriate services as needed. Lori-ann also ensured compliance with program budgets and participated in after hours on-call rotation. Most recently, Lori-ann has been working as a care manager at Adult Foster Care of the North Shore, where they are responsible for overseeing the care of adults with developmental disabilities.

Lori-ann Giamanco has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Management from University of Phoenix. Lori-ann also has a certification from MAP in First Aid/CPR.
