Vaughan Alexander

Vaughan Alexander has extensive work experience in the technology and payment solutions industry. Vaughan is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Adumo since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CEO at Innervation PAN African Payment Solutions, where they were responsible for driving a high-performance culture and leading a team in the development and implementation of innovative payment solutions in several African countries. Vaughan has also held the position of Managing Executive at Innervation Value Added Services, where they successfully secured the Pick and Pay business for value-added services processing.

Before their time at Innervation, Vaughan was the CEO of Destiny Electronic Commerce, where they managed a team that implemented the first real-time medical aid claims processing network in Africa. Vaughan also played a key role in the creation of a separate subsidiary business called Destiny Electronic Commerce.

Prior to that, Vaughan worked as a SCO Unix systems lecturer at the Academy of Computer Education, where they trained IT professionals on various courses. Vaughan began their career as an IT manager at Megamed Pharmacy, where they implemented an IT systems architecture and performed pharmacy assistant duties.

Throughout their career, Vaughan has demonstrated expertise in technology systems, payment solutions, team leadership, business expansion, and strategic acquisitions.

Vaughan Alexander completed high school education from Capricorn High School from 1988 to 1992. The subjects studied during this time included English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Science, Biology, and Computer Science. Additionally, Vaughan Alexander obtained several certifications including the Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) from the PCI Security Standards Council in June 2022, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020. There are also other certifications obtained, such as PCI Internal Security Assesor, PCI SSC Qualified Installer and Reseller, and SCO UnixWare Master ACE, but the details regarding the month and year of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
