Celeste Ferber

Celeste Ferber is a corporate attorney with over 15 years of experience. Celeste currently serves as the SVP, General Counsel and Secretary of Aduro, a biotech company based in Palo Alto, California. Prior to their current role, they served as a legal consultant for Scribe Therapeutics from April 2021 to June 2021.

From January 2014 to January 2016, Ms. Ferber worked as Counsel for Shearman & Sterling LLP, where they advised companies on a broad range of transactional, securities, and corporate governance matters. Celeste also has experience representing issuers and underwriters in public and private securities offerings, as well as advising companies in complex merger and acquisition transactions, including cross-border transactions. Ms. Ferber is co-author (with Christopher M. Forrester) of Fiduciary Duties and Other Responsibilities of Officers (3rd Edition, R.R. Donnelley Capital Markets).

Before joining Shearman & Sterling LLP, Ms. Ferber worked as a corporate attorney for Morrison & Foerster from June 2006 to January 2014, and Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith LLP from October 2003 to May 2006.

Celeste Ferber has a JD from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University.
