Joe Hummel

Joe Hummel has worked in the IT and media industry for over 20 years. Joe began their career in 1991 as a CADD Operator for W&A. In 1992, they moved to LSSI as a CADD Manager & Operator. In 1994, they became the CADD Manager at Dewberry. In 1996, they were a Senior Technical Specialist at VRI. In 1998, they were a Senior Network Engineer at ICN. Joe then worked at Norrell as a Network Engineer in 1999. That same year, they also worked at Internosis as a Senior Consultant and at SHo ME as a Senior Network Engineer. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Towers Watson as a Senior Technical Analyst. In 2010, they became the Director of IT & Media at Advance Concepts, Inc.

Joe Hummel's education history includes an Associate of Arts in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University-Maryland, obtained between 2002 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in October 2022, Uploading Files Securely with PHP from lynda.com in March 2015, Foundations of Programming: Web Services from lynda.com in June 2014, JavaScript Essential Training and JavaScript and AJAX from lynda.com in December 2013, MCSE1: Windows NT 4.0 from Microsoft in April 2000, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in March 1998, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021, AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
